  • Bill Kouligas has collaborated with visual artist Spiros Hadjidjanos on an opera performance debuting in Berlin on April 30th. The show goes down at the Volksbühne Theater in Mitte. Sets from a number of leftfield Berlin-based electronic acts are locked in, with Amnesia Scanner, M.E.S.H. & Michael Guidetti, Physical Therapy & Florian Ludwig and TCF sharing the bill with the night's most intriguing booking: PAN boss Bill Kouligas and Spiros Hadjidjanos's collaborative performance. The pair will utilise technology like wireless routers and optical fiber, and invite a number of operatic vocalists to the stage to perform. The night's other sets will be similarly avant-garde. M.E.S.H. & Michael Guidetti will program a laser for use during their show, while Amnesia Scanner will transform the stage into a "into a living, fire breathing organism." Physical Therapy and Florian Ludwig, meanwhile, will use "custom designed perfume" in their performance.
