- Volume 2: 1985 – 1990 will come out via the Brit's On-U Sound label in June, featuring music from Lee "Scratch" Perry and Dub Syndicate.
Adrian Sherwood's On-U Sound will release Sherwood At The Controls Volume 2: 1985 – 1990 on June 24th.
The 16-track compilation picks up where Volume 1 left off, charting the next five years in Sherwood's rich and varied career as a studio engineer and producer. There are five unreleased tracks, including cuts by On-U Sound regulars Dub Syndicate, African Head Charge and Jamaican icon Lee "Scratch" Perry, an artist Sherwood counts among his greatest influences. As well as dub, the CD spans electro, industrial, noise, hip-hop and afrobeat, with tracks by Pankow, Tackhead and KMFDM among others. A double-pack vinyl version will also be available.
