  • The Phreakin crew in Brisbane have re-awaken to present the LiquidBass Loft at Renanimator on the Saturday 7 June (Queens Birthday Long Weekend) at the Arena, Brisbane. It's with great excitement that they present one of the pioneers of the Japanese techno music, Ken Ishii, as their special guest. Ken Ishii is famous for his dancefloor productions under the moniker of FLR, with releases on a division of Japanese dance indie label Sublime Records, Reel Musiq. Following on from his "Easy Filters" series, Ken Ishii is working on a new project, 'Emergency Exit', which will be released under that name not FLR later this year. Catch Ken Ishii playing a two and a half hour set on the night, supported by local DJs Shadrach, Aniki, Orinoko, Cam vs G Money, and Viega. The Phreakin crew promise a PA worthy of their guest and a wicked lighting set up to boot. The Reanimator party will also feature six other rooms of music. RA will bring you more details on this party as they are released, but Brisbane fans of techno can be more than pleased at the coming of Ken Ishii! Tickets for the event are on sale on at the usual outlets.
