The first names for this year's edition of the Rotterdam event have been revealed.
The 2016 edition of Rotterdam's Expedition Festival will take place on Saturday, July 16th.
Euromastpark—located just west of Rotterdam's city centre—will host the action this time around. According to Expedition's organisers, it's the first time the popular park has been used for a music festival. Three techno heavyweights have been enlisted for the occasion: Derrick May, Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson, AKA the Belleville Three. The Detroit trio's appearance will offer those in Europe a rare chance to catch them all at once, as their sets together are few and far between. For now, Roisin Murphy is the only other confirmed act, with more names to be added to the bill in the coming weeks and months. Doors run from 1 PM to 11 PM.
