The two-day festival goes down in late July at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, outside of LA.
The well-established festival, which mixes hip-hop acts and electronic artists, had a rough 2015. Two deaths at its summer 2015 event led the LA County Board of Supervisors to consider a ban on raves. In fall 2015, hundreds were arrested at HARD's Day Of The Dead shows. Undeterred, the popular event is back in force, converting to an 18+, two-day camping format and switching venues to the AAA Speedway in Fontana.
West Coast gangsta rap legend Ice Cube sits atop day one of HARD Summer. The Saturday lineup also includes EDM star Porter Robinson, Dirtybird boss Claude VonStroke, LA up-and-comers Justin Jay & DJ Dodger Stadium and grime survivor Dizzee Rascal.
Day two has Major Lazer at the top of the bill, festival mainstays Dillon Francis and Zeds Dead, XL Recordings act Kaytranada and pop duo Bob Moses, plus classically minded house jocks Green Velvet and Jackmaster.
