- Sydney producer Eugene Ward's next release comes via the new Melbourne label in May.
Eugene Ward, AKA Dro Carey, will release his Dark Zoo EP on Soothsayer next month.
The five-tracker will be the Sydney producer first full release under his experimental Dro Carey alias since 2014. He's spent the last few years expanding the catalogue of his more dancefloor-oriented Tuff Sherm project, as well as releasing an album under his given name that showcased Ward's talents as a composer.
Dark Zoo marks his signing to new Melbourne label Soothsayer, which launched earlier this month and saw Ward play alongside another member of the roster, Roland Tings. The EP includes collaborations with vocalists KUCKA and FKL and, according to the label, ranges from "pop moments" to "brooding club explorations."
