  • Details for this year's Pop-Kultur festival in Berlin have emerged. Running from August 31st through September 2nd, Pop-Kultur will take over a number of Neukölln venues with a series of rock, electronic and experimental events. There will be sets from Matthew Herbert (who played last year), Fatima Al Qadiri, The KVB, Zebra Katz and Zola Jesus, who share the bill with Alex.Do, John Roberts and RROXYMORE. Scottish post-punk Mogwai are also locked in. A number of film screenings and talks are also confirmed. SchwuZ, Heimathafen Neukölln, Huxleys Neue Welt, Passage-Kino, Keller and Prachtwerk are among the venues set to be used. "All of these places have been chosen as they represent various melting pots of the creative scenes here in Berlin," says organiser Katja Lucker. Head to the festival's official site for the full venue-by-venue programme.
