  • Clams Casino will put out a new album in July. Michael Volpe first came to prominence as a beatmaker for rappers like Lil B, A$AP Rocky and Soulja Boy, helping to define a short-lived sound then known as "cloud rap." He self-released an acclaimed collection of instrumentals in 2011, which was later pressed onto vinyl by Type Records. He followed that up with two more instrumental mixtapes in the ensuing years, and went quiet after 2013. Now, according to Pitchfork Volpe is back with a new album, 32 Levels. Details are scarce, but we know it'll come via Columbia on July 15th, and you can listen to first single "Blast" below.
