Radio 1 will have an even stronger presence in Ibiza this season with Resident BBC Radio 1 DJ Dave Pearce announcing he is making a return to Ibiza with his weekly Euphoria parties.
Euphoria is set to take place every Friday at San Antonio’s Eden, whilst the infamous ‘Funky Room’ will be hosted by Plastic Inc who will focus on more residents and less guest, whilst offering DJ’s longer sets.”
Pearce will have the pleasure of playing alongside Ibiza DJ legend Ray Davies and speaking about the night the Radio 1 DJ said “Last year was really special. We attracted trance and hard dance fans from as far a field as Alaska and Australia, now it's on a Friday we should be even bigger. We've moved to Friday because so many flights leave or arrive on Saturdays and there were quite a few clubbers on a week's holiday who would not be able to make it.Instead of having lots of different DJs, the Euphoria night is about building a vibe and a momentum. With longer sets there is more cohesion in the music played."
Another DJ associated with Radio 1 heads to the Spanish isle, giving the UK radio station fantastic branding in the dance music capital of the world for 4 months of the year.
