- The London producer's LP will come via his label Trax Couture in July.
Rushmore will release his debut album, Ours After, through Trax Couture July 29th.
Matthew Thomas runs the East London party House Of Trax as well as its label offshoot Trax Couture. Both the event series and imprint trade in a broad range of club styles, riffing on vogue and ballroom house as well as footwork, grime and hip-hop. Thomas' 13-track full-length as Rushmore is set to land on Trax Couture in a couple of months.
It follows a few EPs for the label as well as one for Hot Haus Recs, the club-centric subsidiary of Unknown To The Unknown, and another for New York house outfit Nervous Records. Ours After is influenced by "'90s and '00s rap albums," Trax Couture says, along with the music of Teklife leaders DJ Spinn and the late DJ Rashad. It features a few different singers and rappers, including Los Angeles duo Cam & China.
