The Toronto producer will play for It's Your Turn next weekend.
Kevin McPhee will headline the next It's Your Turn party in Vancouver on Saturday, June 11th.
The Toronto producer, who rose to fame with a run of dusky, UK-informed 12-inches for labels like [nakedlunch] and Idle Hands, has been somewhat reclusive lately. Though the releases have kept coming, taking a turn towards more straightforward house and techno and landing on labels like West Norwood Cassette Library (he also unveiled a new alias called Ian Oakley last year), his gigs have been few and far between.
McPhee will make a return trip to Vancouver next week, reprising his appearance at local techno party series It's Your Turn back in 2013. As usual, it'll go down at a TBA location. McPhee will be playing under his Nettling alias, under which he released a track on Darko Esser's Wolfskuil earlier this year. He'll be supported by Lobster Theremin's 1800HaightStreet and local selector Zeeaa.
