The Portland, Maine producer will be joined by Santiago Salazar at the new Resonant Frequency event.
Disco Nihilist, real name Mike Taylor, released his debut 12-inch in 2009 on Pittsburgh-based imprint Love What You Feel. Since then, he's spread his tight, hardware-driven dance floor jams across labels like Running Back, Construction Paper, and most recently, Don't Be Afraid sublabel DBA Special Editions.
Another Love What You Feel artist, Santiago Salazar, is on support for Taylor's first LA show. The UR-affiliated Salazar issued his debut full-length, Chicanismo, though the label last year. Initial Sequence will open the night up with a live set. The venue for Resonant Frequency will be outfitted with a Klipsch soundsystem with the address to be announced day of.
