- The Running Back-affiliated label will handle the release of the new double-LP, I Semi Del Futuro.
Edizioni Mondo will release L.U.C.A.'s I Semi Del Futuro in August.
L.U.C.A. is the project of Francesco de Bellis, an Italian producer who launched the project, as well as the Edizioni Mondo following, drawing inspiration from a series of 100-track mixtapes he made for a friend named Luca. Running Back boss Gerd Janson stepped in to help start up the label, and between 2013 and 2015, Mondo would go on to release four seasonally-themed EPs.
Those were compiled onto a CD last August, and now L.U.C.A.'s back with his debut album, presumably continuing on with the library and Balearic-style path he's laid out on his previous records. A press release says the I Semi Del Futuro is an "album that embraces a new-hippie vibe, strongly pervaded by a mystical naturalism."
