- Ed Upton's third album of 2016 will land in September.
DMX Krew's next album will come via Abstract Forms.
2016 has been an extraordinarily busy year for Ed Upton, who is usually pretty busy anyways. Escape-MCP is his third album of 2016, following efforts for Hypercolour and Ekster, in addition to a handful of 12-inches and an exhaustive retrospective from Fundamental Records. This time London-based Abstract Forms handles the release. Upton has already given the label several records, including three in the last two years alone.
As Juno Plus reports, Escape-MCP is inspired by the 1980s video game of the same name, where the user controls a man trying to escape a computer. You can listen to clips of the whole thing.
