- It's the first taste of new material he's gathering for a full-length on the Norwegian label.
Keita Sano's Why Not EP will land on Rett | Fletta on July 18th, followed by an album later this year.
The Okayama-based producer has kept up a tireless release schedule since making his debut in 2014. Stylistically, his output has been unusually diverse, with releases for Let's Play House, 1080p and Mister Saturday Night that "zig-zag deviantly across the house and techno spectrum," as RA's Angus Finlayson put it.
Next up is a four-track EP of "modern analogue warehouse techno" for Norwegian outfit Rett | Fletta, an offshoot of Prins Thomas and Steve Kotey's label Full Pupp. They describe it as "raw, rugged and slightly alarming, but dry and focused with a massive funk attitude." Sano also has a full album due out on the label some time this year, though there are no other details available just yet.
