The week-long festival will bring Voices From The Lake, DJ Sprinkles and Octo Octa to a number of locations in early August.
Copenhagen's Strøm has announced its 2016 programme.
Running from August 6th through 13th, the festival will bring a large cast of house, techno and experimental acts for a week-long series of club nights and concerts.
As usual, a number of Copenhagen locations will be in use, including Cisternerne, Brorsons Kirke and Culture Box. Local experimentalist SØS Gunver Ryberg, who we recently profiled for our Breaking Through series, helps kicks things off on Monday the 8th at Cisternerne. After that there will be sets from Karsten Pflum at Brorson's Church (9th), Alessandro Cortini at Our Saviour's Church, The Black Madonna at Jolene Bar (10th), and DJ Sprinkles and Octo Octa at Kb18 (12th). Techno fans will likely have their eyes on Culture Box's Friday night session, also on the 12th—Voices From The Lake and Svreca are both confirmed.
Strøm concludes on Saturday the 13th with the brighter house and disco of Antal, Hunee and Soichi Terada, who will appear at a Rush Hour showcase at Multisalen. That night's other session, going down at Superkilen, has Al Dobson Jr, FYI Chris and a host of local acts on the bill.
Tickets to most of these events are available here on RA.
