Kaiju have an album on the way.
The duo of Jamie Schildhauer and Paul White are one of the later additions to the dubstep canon—they started producing as Kaiju in 2012. Their early releases came via Osiris Music UK, before they hopped on over to Mala's Deep Medi Musik in the last year. That label will handle Seven Sins, their debut album. It's a collaborative affair, featuring Deep Medi label-mate Gantz (who recently released a collaborative LP with Kahn and Commodo), Jack Gates, drum & bass vets Total Science and vocalist Riya. Most of the tracks come in at 140 BPM, with influences from jungle, sublow grime and "drunken jazz," according to the press release.
