The secondnature crew are starting a label of the same name.
Over the last three years, the seven-strong crew of young producers and DJs from Seattle and Tacoma has helped revitalize the region's techno scene. They've thrown events with the likes of Abdulla Rashim and Polar Inertia while supporting their close-knit group of local peers too. Now they're moving into the realm of releasing music with Oil Panes, the first EP on their self-titled label, due out on September 5th. Fugal gets the honours of launching it, with four original tracks along with a remix from Semantica boss Svreca. The label calls it "ambitious, experimental techno" that "challenges preconceived notions of convention, structure and temporality."
