  • Music blog Easterndaze will head to Berlin in September for a series of events and film screenings. Running from September 28th through October 9th, Easterndaze x Berlin: DIY Music Topographies will focus on music from Central and Eastern Europe. (They're the areas Easterndaze focusses on editorially, aiming to "raise awareness about up-and-coming artists" in those regions.) Almost 20 acts, mostly newcomers, have been locked in for sets at the Berlin event, which goes down at Silent Green Kulturquartier in Wedding. Opal Tapes affiliates S Olbricht and Ketev are among the names locked in, along with Christoph de Babalon, Ziúr, Silver Waves, Circular Ruins and more. There'll also be a video installation by Jan St. Werner and more visuals by Benjamin Kaiser. A number of film screenings are also confirmed, taking place at Prenzlauer Berg cinema Lichtblick Kino. Head to Easterndaze for more information.
