With their debut album, Adoldesscent, on the way, Gerd Janson and Lauer have a four-night run of gigs scheduled for later this month.
A quick four-stop Tuff City Kids tour of the US is coming up this month.
Tuff City Kids is the duo of German artists Gerd Janson, who recently did some US gigging of his own, and Lauer. On top of dozens of remixes, they've made solo records for the likes of Delsin, Unterton, Potion and Permanent Vacation, with the latter label set to release their debut album Adoldesscent next month. (A pre-LP single, Labyrinth is about to drop.) In support of the upcoming album, Tuff City Kids have scheduled their debut stateside visit.
Janson and Lauer will DJ together at two dates each on the East Coast and West Coast over four consecutive nights. First up is Good Room in Brooklyn on Thursday, September 22nd, followed by PL0T at Miami's Coyo Taco. Then it's on to Los Angeles, where a Saturday night with Prototype and Fine Time at Lot 613 also features DJ Qu. Tuff City Kids wrap up their trip at San Francisco's Mezzanine that Sunday the 25th, headlining DEVIANTS, the official Folsom Street Fair closing party—as usual, beloved locals and event co-hosts Honey Soundsystem will take to the decks as well.
Tune in to Adoldesscent cut "Labyrinth."
