- The Berlin label will release its next two EPs in October.
Samurai Music has revealed details of two upcoming records.
The Berlin label relaunched its main arm last year, with the first three records coming from Clarity, The Untouchables and Homemade Weapons & Red Army. Now we've got info on the next two, both of which are due out in mid-October. One comes from long-time collaborators Nucleus & Paradox, whose last EP we gave high marks, as a two-track 12-inch. The label says that it's "deeper than their usual output."
The other release is a four-track record from Ancestral Voices, formerly known as Indigo. Old Earth Voodoo is his first new material since his long-delayed album from last year, Night Of Visions. That LP was the subject of two remix EPs that landed this summer. For Old Earth Voodoo, Ancestral Voices delivers "85 BPM diversions soaked in voodoo dust and aimed squarely at the conscious club floor," says the label.
