  • The next High + Tight goes down at a TBA location in Seattle on September 30th. The Pacific Northwest underground has been around for over five years at this point. They look back to the basic warehouse principles for inspiration, providing partygoers with a well-tuned soundsystem, underground DJs spinning house and techno and on at least one occasion, a bouncy castle. For this one, they've booked in Motor City mainstay Omar-S, who has played High + Tight before. This past April, Alex O. Smith continued his remarkable consistent streak, releasing another well-received LP called The Best. Smith's close collaborator, OB Ignitt, will also make the trip to Seattle. The latter emerged with the Oh Jabba on FXHE in 2012, and has collaborated with Omar-S on two 12-inches since. Check out Andrew Ryce's review of High & Tight's fifth birthday party.
