The American electronic music veteran released a new video today with snippets of unreleased songs.
New York native Richard Melville Hall uploaded a video to his YouTube account today. It contains new, unreleased music that is presumably off his new album. He hasn't confirmed many details besides the name of the record, though in the video description he calls it a "debut album," meaning it may be the first LP to come from his new project, Moby & The Void Pacific Choir (they shared the track "Don't Leave Me" in August).
"The music on the record is—the only way I can describe it, it's like new wave dance music," he told Al Jazeera last year. "It's sort of New Order inspired, a little Depeche Mode inspired. But quite electronic, very song-oriented." Amazon lists the release date as October 14th, 2016, and it's due out on Moby's label Little Idiot Music.
