Lovefingers' ESP Institute will put on the Japanese producer this weekend.
The Tokyo artist born Moko Shibata has quickly built up a following based off of her ethereal house productions, of a piece with Vancouver's Mood Hut crew and Lovefingers' ESP Institute. That label that handled her debut, Highly, and the imprint has arranged a couple Southern California shows for Shibata this weekend, a similar setup to the mini-tour label boss Andrew Hogge arranged for Tako back in July. They'll start at a TBA warehouse on Friday night, with Powder, Lovefingers and Tavish on the bill. The next day, the troupe will sling poolside sounds at the Ace Hotel Palm Springs.
