A new Madteo album, titled Special Offer, will come out on DJ Sotofett's Wania label in late November.
White-label copies of the LP have been floating around since 2013, but now it's getting a full release. The album sees Madteo working with Sensational, the US rapper whose distinctive voice has appeared on several Madteo tracks down the years, as well as Tapes, who provides some guitar. DJ Sotofett compiled and edited the 11 tracks on Special Offer over a six-year period.
We're told to expect "hip-hop, disco, house, New York City, psychedelia, sound exploration and exploitation" from the album, whose title and artwork is aligned to Madteo's dollar-bin $treet Wax mix series. You can hear clips over at the Clone website.
