Innervisions has reopened its Muting The Noise shop in Berlin following a refurbishment.
The record shop, event location and art space was closed in February for renovations. A new floor, plus new shelves and lighting, have been installed, and it now also has a soundsystem and a DJ booth. During his recent takeover of RA's Instagram, Innervisions co-founder Dixon revealed that the new sound setup, which took a year to build, includes a custom-made Isonoe mixer and Klipschorn speakers.
A reopening party happened on October 6th—an event that doubled as the release party for the latest Secret Weaponscompilation on Innervisions. The shop is located on Blücherstraße in Kreuzberg, and is open on Thursdays from 4 PM through 8 PM.
Innervisions launched Muting The Noise in 2010. It's also an online shop and the distributor of all Innervisions records. For more on Innervisions, read Will Lynch's 2015 article on the label.
