Discwoman links up with DJ Heather at smartbar

- The Brooklyn-based collective will be back in Chicago next weekend.
- The next Discwoman night at Chicago's smartbar will go down next Saturday, October 22nd. Discwoman is a Brooklyn-based DJ crew, promoter and booking agency that champions female-identified and gender-queer electronic music artists. Next weekend will mark the second edition of their ongoing smartbar residency, after a night in May featuring Canadian DJs Jayda G and CL. Atop the bill for this one is DJ Heather, the Chicago house selector and member of the pioneering all-female DJ collective Superjane. Key Discwoman affiliate Volvox will be flying in from New York for the occasion, and one more Chicagoan is confirmed in La Spacer. Tune in to Volvox's recent set for the Beats In Space radio show.
