The 350-capacity gig and club space launched last week.
According to Time Out, it's a 9,000 square-foot space housed within two Victorian railway arches in London Bridge, with room for 350 people. It was set up by Welsh musician Ben Lovett, who plays in popular folk outfit Mumford & Sons. Lovett has been heavily involved in the programming, which will feature a mix of bands and electronic music acts, as well as talks and live comedy. Chicago's Amir Alexander has been tapped for a set at Cosmic Latte on Saturday, November 12th. Omeara forms part of Flat Iron Square, a new hub of pop-up food outlets, bars and venues in SE1.
"It was as much fun doing the back of house at Omeara as it was the front of house," Lovett told Time Out. "As a facility for musicians it is incomparable in my opinion, especially for the size of venue it is. There was no expense spared on facilities or production."
Tickets are available here on RA.
