- Theo Parrish will headline Freedom Time, a New Year's Day party at Coburg Velodrome in Melbourne. Previously there have been three Freedom Time events run by Crown Ruler—two of which have been at the old cycling track—hosting selectors like Floating Points and Jeremy Underground. This time, Parrish tops the bill that also features UK digger Nick The Record, Red Light Records owner Tako and Lullabies For Insomniacs label head Izabel, plus a live performance from Melbourne outfit Harvey Sutherland and Bermuda. Additionally, more than a dozen local acts will play including András, Wax'o Paradiso, Krakatau, Prequel, Swooping Duck and DJ J'NETT. The party runs from midday to 10 PM on January 1st, 2017.
