  • Clap! Clap!'s next album, A Thousand Skies, is coming on Black Acre in February 2017. This'll be Italian Cristiano Crisci's second LP, following 2014's Tayi Bebba, which was also released via Black Acre. Like that record, A Thousand Skies blends live instrumentation and world music samples with elements of footwork, hip-hop and house. There are guest vocal spots for South African folk singer Bongeziwe Mabandla on "Nguwe," plus collaborations with Berlin-based duo OY, Italian beatmaker HDADD, and South African band (and Planet Mu signees) John Wizards. It will be available digitally and as a double-pack LP from February 17th. Listen to "Ar-Raqis."
