Novation brings polyrhythms, pattern switch to Circuit groovebox

Novation has updated the firmware for Circuit.
Version 1.4 introduces user-requested features to the groovebox device, which features a grid sequencer for controlling inbuilt synth and drum voices. Previously, drum patterns were locked to 16 steps. The length of a sequence is now user-defined between one and 16 steps, which facilitates the programming of polyrhythmic patterns and non-standard time signatures. Track patterns can now be switched instantly during playback for creating "fast-changing fills and pattern-change effects." A new set of samples, synth patches and sessions are now available, too. Sessions can also be coloured from within the unit itself and MIDI can be set to transmit and receive separate settings.
