  • Electric Brixton will host a series of club nights to launch the nationwide Rave For Refugees campaign. The new initiative aims to raise funds and awareness for the plight of refugees through a series of parties. Faithless, Daphni, Jon Hopkins, Skream and Eats Everything will play the first launch event at Electric Brixton on December 8th, while Chase & Status, Rudimental, Sigma and Shy FX are locked in for the second on the 15th. More events are planned in Brixton, with details still TBA. Funds raised will be donated to the charity Help Refugees, with a particular focus on helping pregnant women and children survive the winter in Greek refugee camps. The Rave For Refugees campaign will also encourage people to host their own nights to raise money for the cause—artwork and information on setting up a night are available on their website.
