- The two Detroit-rooted DJs will play on Thanksgiving weekend
- Atlanta's next Deep South night will go down at The Heretic on Saturday, November 26th. Deep South is a monthly queer party that began last spring, and this Thanksgiving-weekend soirée features perhaps their most ambitious lineup, with two out-of-towners, Mike Servito and Gay Marvine, confirmed. Each is a longtime DJ with roots in the Detroit underground scene—Servito, known for his "bitch slap" skills on the decks, now lives in Brooklyn, where he's a resident at The Bunker. Gay Marvine, who's developed a following with both his DJing and the edits he releases through his Secret Mixes Fixes and Bath House Etiquette labels, is these days based in San Francisco. Deep South resident Robert Ansley will take care of warm-up duties. Tune in to a Servito set for Beats In Space from earlier this year.
