- The three-track 10-inch hit stores today.
Mark Ernestus has collaborated on a ten-inch called April with Nigerian brass band Obadikah.
The three-track release, which was hinted at back in June, went on sale today. It sees Ernestus, a Berlin-based producer who's long had an interest in African music, work with the Lagos-based Obadikah to offer up three versions of "April." What seems like the original version of "April" sits on the A-side, backed up by "Dub" and "Parts" versions on the flip.
April arrives at the tail-end of a year that has already seen Honest Jon's put out records from Kassem Mosse and Shackleton.
Stream "April Dub."
