  • Jamie Jones will perform with the Colombia National Symphonic Orchestra (OSNC) in Bogotá on Saturday, December 3rd. The 5,500-capacity show, presented by Move Concerts and Dutch beer giant Heineken, is being billed as "the first concert of its kind in Latin America." Held at Estación De La Sabana, it'll feature live renditions of some of Jones's most popular tracks, including "Hungry For The Power," "Tonight In Tokyo" and Hot Natured's "Benediction," performed by the 60-piece orchestra. The arrangements were done by Kate Simko, founder of the London Electronic Orchestra. She'll warm up from 6 PM, performing her own tracks with the OSNC before Jones takes the stage at 8:30 PM. After the main event, which lasts 90 minutes, Jones and Simko will hit the decks until 4 AM. There's also an afterparty in the works, running from 11 PM on December 3rd through 10 AM the following morning at Vlak. Delta Funktionen will play, joined by TBA guests. The event forms part of OFF Week, a series of events promoted by local collective The Hindie Corporation that run alongside this year's edition of Sónar Bogotá. The other two sessions will see Floating Points headline Armando Records on Friday, December 2nd, and Dystopian's Tijana T play a TBA location on Wednesday, December 7th. Tickets to see Jones and Simko DJ at Vlak are available here on RA.
