Coinciding with the release of a new album ‘The World According To RZA’, the Wu Tang Clan leader, will tour Australia in late August (see tour dates below).
The RZA is the Wu Tang Clan’s founding member and chief producer. A man with many aliases - Bobby Digital, Rakeem, The Rzarector, The Abbot – RZA is recognised as one of the most influential and prolific producers in hip hop and in August he steps off a plane to enlighten Australian ears with his pioneering, unique and diverse sound.
With platinum records, and a Grammy under the Wu Tang belt, RZA is still expanding the Wu Tang Empire including a production company, record labels, clothing company Wu Wear, Wu Electronics, while further branching out into movies. In addition, the RZA has overseen production for non-Wu artists such as Cypress Hill, Notorious BIG and Bjork, formed his own supergroup Gravediggaz with Prince Paul, Fruitkwan and Poetic, and recorded ‘Ghost Dog: The Way Of The Samurai’ soundtrack album.
