- The event, going down tomorrow in Miami, will feature an art auction to raise money for the music-oriented charity.
Bridges For Music is hosting a Salon Session at Art Basel at a secret Miami Beach location on Thursday, December 1st.
The session seeks to bring people from the art and music world together, including Richie Hawtin, Skrillex, Arthur Baker and Behrouz. It includes an auction of over ten works from artists like Joni Arredia, Jamie Lange, Clayton Calvert and Bijana Misic, as well as a signed photo of Skrillex by Jas Davies. Guests will also be able to bid on a visit to Tony Hawk headquarters in San Diego, a "VIP experience" at the Lighthouse festival in South Africa next February and a "luxury getaway" in Tulum, Mexico. There will be food on site and a tasting from Hawtin's ENTER.Sake brand. The Salon Session runs from 2 PM through 7 PM.
The money raised will go towards Langa Music School, a first-of-its-kind academy in the South African city of the same name that RA has been helping to fund since 2014. Tickets for the Salon Session are available here.
