- The respected digger has picked his favourite songs from the Amsterdam label's back catalogue.
Japanese digger Chee Shimizu has put together a two-disc compilation for Music From Memory.
Music From Memory - Compiled By Chee Shimizu has two parts: a collection of 15 songs, selected by Shimizu, from the label's archive, and a recording of Shimizu's set at Tokyo's Forestlimit from July 2016. (Forestlimit featured in our article about audiophile venues in the Japanese capital.)
Shimizu's selections of Music From Memory material include all of the label's key artists, including Gigi Masin, Vito Ricci, Gaussian Curve and Roberto Musci. Music From Memory, which is run by Abel Nagengast, Jamie Tiller and Tako Reyenga, was recently voted one of RA's favourite record labels for the second year running.
