- The Colundi Sequence Vol. 2 is due out next month on Clone sub-label DUB Recordings.
Finnish artist Aleksi Perälä is connecting with Clone for another Colundi Sequence vinyl release.
A seasoned IDM, techno and ambient producer previously known for putting out albums on Rephlex, Perälä nowadays focuses on self-releasing music he's made in accordance with an esoteric tuning system called Colundi. (We explored this hard-to-define undertaking with Perälä in a late-2015 feature.) Last year Clone Basement Series collected a batch of those tracks into a triple-vinyl pack, The Colundi Sequence Vol. 1—which earned a spot on our top 2016 compilations list.
Vol. 2 features 16 more cuts from Perälä's recent output, spread across two slabs of wax. The set will see release next month through DUB Recordings, a Clone sub-label (originally named Djak-Up-Bitch D.U.B.) that was revived in 2016 after more than five years of inactivity.

Clone's DUB Recordings will release The Colundi Sequence Vol. 2 in late February, 2017.
