  • The first names for Sunfall 2017 are in. Returning to London's Brockwell Park on Saturday, August 12th, this year's edition features house, techno and disco acts from the UK and abroad. Confirmed DJs so far include Helena Hauff, Derrick May, The Black Madonna, Antal, Palms Trax, Move D, Theo Parrish, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Beautiful Swimmers and Jackmaster. There will also be live sets from Roy Ayers, Floating Points, Romare and Larry Heard, who will play live in London for the first time in 20 years. Sunfall, which is organised by the team behind the Croatian festivals Dimensions and Outlook and The Columbo Group, the events company that runs Phonox, XOYO, Jazz Cafe, The Nest and other London venues, debuted last July. The 2017 edition will stick to the same format, which means the daytime session will be followed by a number of affiliated parties in clubs around London. "We're proud that the work we did to create great sound in a central London festival paid off," Andy Peyton of The Columbo Group says. "We are committed to surpass those levels again."
