Panokorama is out on Lovefingers' label in March.
Though Bartellow is a relatively new name, followers of Lovefingers' ESP label will be familiar with the music he's made alongside Public Possession founders Marvin & Valentino as Tambien. That group's Drogato 12-inch, released by ESP in 2013, caused a minor sensation, and they followed it up with the Der Elf 12-inch and a number of records for Public Possession.
The label says that Bartellow "found a way to merge primitivism with retrofuturism," drawing on his jazz background as well as an ongoing obsession with synthesis. The album's neologist name refers to "a surreal landscape with a foreign presence centrally embedded, a 'panorama' punctuated by a 'ko.'"
