  • PAN boss Bill Kouligas has organized a series of events called Between 0 and 1: Remixing Gender, Technology, and Music, set to go down at MoMA PS1 over three Sundays in February. The press release for Between 0 and 1 describes it as "a series of performances, talks, screenings, and workshops that highlight and investigate the relationship between gender nonconforming identities, technology, and electronic music." Festivities kick off on February 12th with Honey Dijon, who will lead a discussion focused on "those who have, like her, found safety and creative expression within the New York club scene." Dijon's talk follows a hackathon as well as a screening of To Valerie Solanas And Marilyn Monroe In Recognition Of Their Desperation, a film influenced by Pauline Oliveros' 1970 score of the same name. The next Sunday's program focuses on the work of Terre Thaemlitz (AKA DJ Sprinkles), who will perform "Cantos I-IV" from her 2012 LP Soulnessless. The show will be followed by a conversation between Thaemlitz and Dijon, moderated by Juliana Huxtable. Between 0 and 1 wraps up on the 19th with Genesis Breyer P-Orridge. The Throbbing Gristle leader will stage a lecture and performance following a live set from Elysia Crampton. The program lists Honey Dijon's Modernisms, and Terre Thaemlitz's The Revolution Will Not Be Injected and Interstices as accompanying texts for Between 0 and 1.
