A tracklist, samples and further information for the upcoming Shed album, The Final Experiment, have surfaced.
Highly regarded German producer René Pawlowitz's fourth album as Shed—and first since 2012's The Killer—will arrive next month through Monkeytown Records, as we reported in January. (A March 1st release party at London's Pickle Factory was also announced.)
Pre-order links have since begun popping up online, accompanied by a brief but lofty text that promises "a mostly homogeneous" and "self-sufficient" 11-track album with "a vibe that links Shed to other boundary-breaking artists, such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, Brian Eno and Carsten Nicolai."
