- The Canadian duo's experiments in noise and industrial are collected on Archive 1993/1994.
Orphx are releasing a compilation of early material.
Before coming to the attention of techno fans via releases on Sonic Groove, the Canadian group, originally including Rich Oddie, Aron West and Christina Sealey, had spent years honing a combination of rhythmic noise and ambient industrial. This early material was released on a pair of tapes by Xcreteria in 1993 and 1994. Mannequin has compiled tracks from these tapes on Archive 1993/1994, as well as some previously unreleased music from this era. The 20-track set will be released by Mannequin on vinyl with Dominik Fernow's Hospital Productions on board for the CD version.
Listen to a mix of the tracks by Mannequin's Alessandro Adriani.
