- The acclaimed 2001 LP gets new life, with bonus tracks, on Faitiche next month.
German producer Jan Jelinek is reissuing his 2001 full-length Loop-Finding-Jazz-Records in late April.
Loop-Finding-Jazz-Records, with its warm, glitchy sound design, is widely hailed as a highlight of the late-'90s and early-'00s era of minimal and experimental electronic music. Originally put out on ~scape, the label run by Stefan Betke (AKA Pole), the album is now getting an expanded reissue on Jelinek's own imprint Faitiche. Its eight productions will be paired with the two B-side tracks from his 2000 EP Tendency, and pressed onto two slabs of wax. The undertaking is sure to be watched closely by fans—physical copies of both original releases have long been highly sought-after.
