- The Melbourne label will issue the local jazz musician's Indigo LP on April 29th.
Analogue Attic will release Matthew Hayes' debut album, Indigo, on April 29th.
The record will be the Melbourne label's ninth release and first studio full-length, following some ambient-leaning deep house 12-inches from artists like Rings Around Saturn, Sleep D and the duo behind the imprint, Albrecht La'Brooy. Indigo marks the first foray into electronic music for Hayes, a local jazz musician who developed an interest in the style through fellow countrymen Phil Stroud and Albrecht La'Brooy. The album "features a lot of bass playing, live percussion and Victorian field recordings," according to the label, and is "based on themes and memories from around Victoria."
