  • So things have been rather busy of late, and we missed a week of the Friday Radio Update, but it's and there is some great stuff broadcasting around this weekend... radio1BBC Radio1 First off, and most notably in this weekends online listening, is the BBC with their Radio1 Essential Mix. As it is the Bank Holiday weekend, and the 2003 Creamfields UK festival is upon us, what better broadcast than Pete Tong himself, delivering an hour tunes Live from the Radio1 Essential Mix Arena. But Tong won't be alone, as Sasha will be providing the other half of the 2-hour mix. The Live Broadcast from Creamfields is (of course) available on the Radio1 website starting on Sunday morning at 2:00am GMT. ID&TID&T On more of a trance tip, Johan Gielen and Ferry Corsten will be broadcasting their shows on the dominant, Netherland based ID&T Radio on Saturday night. Johan's 'Lift Off' show starts at 8:00pm (GMT) before Ferry takes over with his 2-hour set from 10:00pm. The pair will be delivering their sets online via the ID&T Stream through winamp. kissKiss100 John Digweed will this week be hosting one of the finer progressive industries producers in his guest mix spot. Slacker (Shem McCauley and Simon Rogers (Steiger)), who have release numerous big club tunes over recent years, will be laying down an hour alongside an hour with Digweed's providing his usual fresh progressive selection. John's Kiss100 show broadcasts every Friday at midnight (GMT) and is available online through Kiss100 Online here. That’s all for now... more next week. As always you can email any suggestions or [email protected].
