Organisers say they cut the event short "out of respect towards the life lost and as a small gesture of support towards his family."
According to a statement on the festival's Facebook page, a man died during the third night of the event on Saturday, May 6th. A spokesperson for FASMA told Resident Advisor: "First aid help from the doctor was given and he was transferred to the hospital by ambulance where he passed on Sunday noon." The final night of programming was subsequently cancelled. The cause of death has not been confirmed.
FASMA was taking place in Athens and was scheduled to run from May 4th through 7th. Artists booked included the likes of Tolouse Low Trax, Randomer, DJ Stingray, Alienata and Toxe.
