Björk to DJ on opening night of Sónar 2017

- The Icelandic artist will play a four-hour set at the Barcelona festival on Wednesday, June 14th.
- Björk will DJ on the opening night of this year's Sónar festival in Barcelona. Her four-hour set will happen on Wednesday, June 14th, at Fira Montjuïc's SonarHall stage. She's also hosting a virtual reality exhibition (running June 13th through September 24th) at Barcelona’s Centre For Contemporary Culture (CCCB). Sonar say Bjork Digital will combine "performance, cinema, installation, video and interaction," with VR playing a central role. She will also deliver a talk at the festival as part of the Sónar+D programme. Björk recently played a surprise DJ set at Hyperdub's monthly midweek club night at Corsica Studios in London.
