Swing Ting will put out a 7-inch from vocalist Alexx A-Game next month.
Label founders Samrai and Platt received a version of Alexx A-Game's "Braver" in 2015 from his manager, who wanted them to contribute production. Rather than adding much to the arrangement, they stripped it down to the Rhodes synthesizer part—played by fellow Jamaican Vern Hill—and the bassline, contributing only effects and a few flourishes. That version's been circulating as a dubplate for the last year or so, and now Swing Ting is finally gearing up to release it. The 7-inch single is their first-ever physical release, and it contains their original version as well as an edit.
